Mapaseka Setlhodi is a development economist with over eight years experience advancing youth employment and economic inclusion across Africa. As Technical Support Lead to the National Pathway Management Network (NPMN) under the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI), and capacity support to the office of the DG at Department of employment and Labour, she coordinates multi-sectoral partnerships and policy strategies to address systemic barriers to youth employment and find innovative solutions bringing young people into the labour market. With a strong foundation in research, programme design, and stakeholder engagement, she has worked across government, civil society, and international development agencies. She holds a Masters in development economics from the University of Cape Town.
