Abenezer is an Economist at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). His research focuses on topics within environmental and development economics. His recent work examines the valuation of environmental benefits from regulations, explores the relationship between malaria prevalence and human capital, identifies drivers of environmental pressures and policy responses, and assesses the role of endogenous spatial interaction in environmental policy adoption.  Abenezer holds a PhD in Economics from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU).
