Arden Finn is a researcher at the Southern Africa Labour and Development Research Unit (SALDRU) and a PhD student in economics at the University of Cape Town (UCT). He holds a Masters degree in development economics from the University of Oxford and a BCom(Hons) in Economics from UCT. His research focuses on inequality, poverty and the analysis of panel data. He lectures a graduate course in the analysis of survey data at UCT and has trained a wide range of participants in cross sectional and panel data methods in South Africa, Ghana and Uganda.
