Nicola Branson holds a PhD (2011), Masters (2008) and Bachelors of Business Science (2005) in Economics from UCT. She is currently involved in quantitative research in education inequality and the intergenerational consequence of teenage childbearing in South Africa using household survey data. She has experience in data cleaning longitudinal surveys and in the micro-econometric analysis of social surveys. She has published work on education inequality in South African and trends in employment status using national household survey data.
