Siphe Zantsi is an agricultural economist in the Economic Analysis Unit in the Agricultural Research Council. He holds a PhD in agricultural economics from Stellenbosch University. He has previously worked as research fellow at the Universities, Johannesburg, and Fort Hare. He has done extensive research on South African land redistribution and the economics of rural development.
