Professor Andreas Wörgötter is lecturer at the University of Technology, Vienna and Visiting Research Fellow at the South African Reserve Bank.  He held academic posts at the University of Technology in Vienna, New York University and the Central European University in Prague and Budapest. During his assignment with the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna he developed training programmes for civil servants from post-communist and developing countries. At OECD in Paris he was responsible for Economic Surveys and Projections for 17 countries, including Germany, South Africa, Turkiye, Russia and Ukraine.  He has published articles and working papers and edited conference proceedings on transition economics as well as other topics of empirical economics.
